Top Ten from Worst to Best, here we go--
Megan Joy - Enough, the bitch needs to go.
Scott MacIntyre - Borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring.
Anoop Desai - I thought the vocals were good, but the song choice was a little eh. Now that they get more time to perform, they really need to think about staying interesting. Also, the "Ooohs" were a little awkward to me for some reason. Just my opinion.
Michael Sarver - Same as always--great vocals, mediocre performance. This guy needs to figure out what distinguishes him from everybody else in the top ten. My advice? Go country. It worked last week (disregard the bottom two bullshit, when you start thinking about your rank, you're in trouble) and it worked for Carrie Underwood. Say it with me now--Yee haw.
Danny Gokey - He added so much voice to that song; I loved it. Enough of the ballads; stick with the fun stuff. It was like a revival meeting on that stage. I may have even shouted "Amen!"
Lil Rounds - Could this song have fit her any better? She knocked it out of the park. It didn't sound any more relevant, but did anybody really care? Still, I can't get her the best performance of the night. I disagree with Kara here; I think it's okay to simply pay tribute to an era--as long as you don't do it too often. Although I wouldn't have minded "Grapevine," just saying.
Allison Iraheta - Finally this girl picked a song that made me go "Mmmhmm." It fit her voice, it had just the right attitude, and there was smoke on the stage by the time she was done. That being said, I don't think she's as good as the judges seem to, but I wouldn't mind having her hand around for another week or two.
Adam Lambert - This is one of my "Show Me the Itunes Sales" moments. I would bet that single is going FAST. It was inventive and current. My only complaint? He looked like a cross between Chris Isaack and Elvis. Good to know he can go vanilla and still be interesting.
Matt Giraud - In my opinion, best performance of the night. It almost had a story to it. It started at the piano, then moved to him standing there demanding to get it on. He definitely looked like a star, and he was channeling Justin T. big time. Adam isn't always sell-able as a musician, but Matt and Kris are--Tonight, I have to give it to Matt. If starts to get more confident, he just might be unstoppable.
